Overview
TCB Industrial is seeking experienced Millwrights to join our mechanical construction team. Millwrights at TCB perform precision assembly, installation, alignment, and maintenance of turbines, gates, valves, pumps, and other mechanical equipment. This position is field-based, working on hydroelectric and industrial projects throughout California.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, dismantle, and align turbines, pumps, gates, valves, and associated mechanical systems.
• Read and interpret drawings, rigging plans, and technical specifications.
• Set, level, and align equipment using precision instruments such as dial indicators and laser alignment tools.
• Operate rigging and lifting equipment safely and in coordination with the field crew.
• Assist with welding, bolting, torquing, and mechanical assembly of components.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections as directed.
• Follow all TCB safety policies, participate in daily tailboards, and complete JSA documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Support fellow crew members and contribute to a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Millwright or Mechanical Assembler in construction or industrial maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints, layout drawings, and mechanical schematics.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, rigging, and alignment methods.
• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic equipment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites.
• Must pass pre-employment screening and safety orientation.

Preferred

• Experience working in hydroelectric powerhouses or water infrastructure environments.
• Certified rigging, forklift, or aerial lift training.
• Union millwright experience (or equivalent).
