Overview
TCB Industrial is seeking reliable and hardworking General Laborers to support mechanical and civil construction projects throughout California. Laborers play a key role in assisting millwrights, welders, concrete crews, and operators in the safe and efficient execution of field work. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in heavy industrial and hydroelectric construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist craft crews with setup, material handling, cleanup, and daily work activities.
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Load, unload, and move materials, equipment, and tools around job sites.
• Support mechanical assembly, rigging, or concrete placement as directed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including staging and laydown zones.
• Follow all site safety procedures and participate in daily tailboard meetings.
• Observe experienced tradespeople to learn new skills and proper work practices.
• Report unsafe conditions or equipment issues to supervision immediately.
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned by the Foreman or Superintendent.

Qualifications

• Prior construction or industrial experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-focused.
• Willingness to learn and follow directions from field supervisors.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and safety orientation.

Preferred

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
• Forklift, manlift, or rigging training a plus.
• Experience on hydroelectric, water infrastructure, or heavy civil sites.
