Overview
TCB Industrial is seeking an experienced Civil Foreman / General Foreman to lead field crews on grading, concrete, and infrastructure projects throughout California. The Foreman is responsible for daily crew coordination, productivity, safety, and quality in alignment with project plans and TCB’s standards for performance and professionalism. This role works closely with Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Project Managers to ensure smooth daily operations and efficient field execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and direct crew activities related to excavation, formwork, rebar, and concrete placement.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and layout plans.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment for daily tasks.
• Conduct daily safety tailboards and ensure compliance with TCB’s safety program.
• Monitor production rates, quality of work, and adherence to schedule.
• Communicate field progress and issues to the Superintendent and Project Manager.
• Train and mentor laborers, carpenters, and operators in safe and efficient work methods.
• Verify layout, grades, and concrete form alignment before inspection or pour.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, timecards, and material tracking.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and professionalism on site.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of civil construction experience with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Hands-on experience with grading, earthwork, formwork, and concrete construction.
• Ability to read plans, survey data, and specifications.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• OSHA 30 certification or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of safe equipment operation and rigging practices.
• Must be willing to travel to job sites across California.

Preferred

• Experience on Caltrans, municipal, or water infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with DSOD or USBR standards.
• Basic computer skills for daily reporting and time tracking.
