Overview
TCB Industrial is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to oversee construction of heavy civil and infrastructure projects throughout California. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, budgeting, client coordination, scheduling, and overall delivery of assigned projects. This role requires deep field experience in grading, concrete, and structural civil work, as well as strong organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of assigned civil projects from award to closeout.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost forecasts.
• Lead subcontractor coordination, procurement, and contract management.
• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure compliance.
• Prepare and track RFIs, change orders, and progress billings.
• Oversee field operations in coordination with Superintendents and Foremen.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, engineers, and inspectors.
• Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings.
• Enforce TCB’s safety and quality control programs on all civil projects.
• Support estimating and pre-construction teams with field input and cost data.
• Prepare project closeout documentation and lessons learned reports.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of experience in heavy civil or general construction project management.
• Strong knowledge of grading, concrete, and structural site work.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, and scheduling software (Primavera or MS Project).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.

Preferred

• Experience with Caltrans, municipal, or water infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with DSOD, USBR, or FERC-related civil scopes.
• Background in both hard-bid and negotiated work.
